Construction Worker Killed By Heavy Machinery In Newhall Identified.

The construction worker killed in an accident in Newhall Friday afternoon has been identified.
Around 12:50 p.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Arcadia Street in Newhall, said Maria Grycan, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Javier Magana Valdovinos, 37, of Santa Paula, was the person killed Saturday, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
Initial investigation indicated that Magana was accidentally run over by heavy machinery on a jobsite, which led to his death.
Another construction worker was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
