Sports Could Chiefs Activate Clyde Edwards-Helaire?

? Clyde Edwards-Helaire is eligible to return to the Chiefs active roster at the conclusion of NFL Week 4 ... and if the team does end up opening his three-week window? It'll have that period to either activate him or to keep him on the non-active list for the entirety of the year.

Edwards-Helaire is dealing with worrisome PTSD symptoms ... a delicate matter even as Isiah Pacheco is now injured for maybe two months.

"CEH,'' the former first-round back, is presently on the reserve/non-football injury list. And the Chiefs have signed old friend Kareem Hunt back to the roster.

SEPT 28 DO-IT-ALL! Travis Kelce is viewed in the NFL as a future Hall of Famer who can do it all ... on the field and off. He is a three-time Super Bowl champion and arguably the greatest pass-catching tight end in NFL history. ... and now we know he's also a pop-culture phenomenon who can perform on-stage and on-camera.

Is there anything Taylor Swift's boyfriend can't do? Yup. Mom Donna Kelce is offering up a funny revelation of her son's two problems.

"He can't clean. He can't cook," she told Extra .

SEPT 28 BIG MOVE? The Kansas City Chiefs are without starting running back Isiah Pacheco due to a fractured fibula. That has CBS Sports suggesting that the defending back-to-back Super Bowl winners might need to make a roster move.

But we think they might've already done it.

CBS Sports is listing each team's "biggest needs'' entering Week 4, and they think the issue in KC is the running back position.

Factually, though, we've already seen Steele step up in a big way in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons, and we have coach Andy Reid offering hints about what Hunt might eventually do.

Reid has a "do more with less'' tradition here: Solid running backs as complementary pieces. In that sense, the "big move'' might be a little one ... the Chiefs' re-signing of ex-Browns back Hunt.

SEPT 26 SHOCKER! It is possible that Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt - the Browns ex who this week signed back up with his original employer in KC as Isiah Pacheco will be out for 6-8 weeks with a fractured fibula - will simply serve as a third-string helper while making no real impact in that team's chase for a third straight Super Bowl. Or ...

"I'm excited to go help shock the world and show them I've still got it," Hunt said.

Indeed, Hunt "shocking the world'' would be a story.

See more below ...

he Chiefs are down a man in the backfield due to the Isiah Pacheco injury and now have turned to help from a Browns ex.

The Chiefs have signed Kareem Hunt to their 53-man roster, lifting him up from the practice squad.

Hunt was an NFL rushing champion here as a rookie before getting embroiled in a behavioral controversy. ... and then landing with Cleveland.

He was recently brought back to Kansas City as a "street free agent'' and now he will get a chance to chase a ring as the Chiefs are trying to win a third straight Super Bowl.

SEPT 23 DOWN The Cleveland Browns dropped to 1-2 with a loss to the Giants on Sunday and the offensive line giving up sacks remains a major problem.

Troubling to fans, we're sure: As this is no longer a secret (see below), what is the front office going to do about it?
