Hillsborough County Opens Disaster Recovery Center For Hurricane Victims
la. – In partnership with state and federal agencies, Hillsborough County is opening a Disaster Recovery Center to support individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits affected by Hurricanes Helene and Debby.
The center, located at Hillsborough Community Center at The Regent, will be open from 1-6 p.m. on Monday, September 30th, and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily from Tuesday, October 1st through Sunday, October 6th. FEMA representatives will be on-site to assist with applications and answer questions.

Residents impacted by the hurricanes can apply for FEMA's IHP assistance, which provides financial and direct services to help meet basic needs and aid recovery efforts.

Remember: IHP assistance is not a replacement for insurance and may not cover all losses. Residents needing long-term housing solutions are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
