How to watch the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas - NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs | Channel, stream, preview

KANSAS CITY, KS - The second round of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs is set to begin on Sunday, with many of the sports top drivers looking to take one step closer to a series championship when they compete in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

The Round of 12 begins with many questions for the remaining postseason contenders. Kyle Larson was on the bubble heading into last Saturday's race at Bristol, but the regular season champion secured himself a spot in the second round with an important win. With the checkered flag, he comes into this round in first place, 39 points above the cut line.

Joey Logano, the only other playoff driver to win a race in the Round of 16, is sitting eighth after rough outings over the last two races, just four points ahead of Austin Cindric.

The other drivers in the bottom three as the second round begins are Daniel Suarez, Alex Bowman and Chase Briscoe. Yet, all three are close enough to move on into the top eight with good performances over the next three races, as Bowman and Briscoe, who are 11th and 12th in points, are only seven back of Logano.

It will be interesting to see if any of the remaining playoff drivers can pick up a win at Kansas, a track known for its high speeds on low banks. Larson won the regular season race back in May, while Tyler Reddick, currently third in points, won last year's postseason event. Logano, Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin are the only other drivers contending for a championship who have won in Kansas City.
