But who are Hollywood's biggest spenders? From a $325,000 dog mansion to $276,000 for a stolen dinosaur skull - MailOnline reveals the stars REALLY splashing the cash.

Mariah Carey's $100k-a-month on exotic flowers Singer Mariah Carey reportedly blows an 'obscenely expensive' amount on designer clothes, gifts and champagne.

She split from Aussie billionaire tycoon James Packer in 2016 because of her obsession with 'money, money, money,' with insiders reckoning she spent $45,000 on doggie spa treatments, $100k-a-month on exotic flowers and $10k-a-time for hair and make-up.

In November, Radar Online reported that Mariah's spending had hit $1 million-a-month on out-of-control shopping sprees buying 'useless stuff' with 'no price tag too high '.

The full insight into her spending was revealed after she was found to have borrowed a mind boggling $18million on the Manhattan penthouse she bought for half that amount.

Mariah - net worth is estimated at $350 million - purchased her Tribeca apartment for $9 million cash in June 1999 through a company Franklin Views LLC set up by her business manager. She bought the penthouse and the apartment below, then joined them together.

In total, she borrowed $18.6million from JP Morgan Chase and $2.6million from City National Bank. The $18.6 million is still outstanding though the smaller amount was paid off in October 2016.

Johnny Depp's $30,000-a-month on wine He is most certainly not short on cash after years of Hollywood lead roles.

But in addition to owning multiple homes and a luxury yacht, Johnny Depp is said to spend $30,000 a month on wine.

The jaw-dropping revelation came in 2016 when Johnny found out that he had 'lost' $650 million.

Johnny explained to a court in London during his libel trial with ex-wife Amber Heard that he had been late to her 30th birthday party as he was having an important meeting with his advisers.

He told the court: 'Since Pirates II and III, I had made — and it seems a ludicrous number — $650million.

'When I fired (my previous management) I had not only lost the $650million but I was $100million in the hole because they had not paid the government my taxes for 17 years. It was a bad meeting.'

As well as his huge wine spend, it was revealed Johnny travelled by private jet and maintained 12 storage facilities housing his fine art and memorabilia collections.

TMC also claimed the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor spent $75million on the purchase of 14 residences, including a chateau in France, splashed out $18million on a luxury yacht and paid more than $3million to blast the ashes of author Hunter Thompson over Aspen, Colorado, from a specially-made cannon.
