Johnstown businesses provide resources for recovery: ‘physical wellness, mental health’

A.Smith47 min ago

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Magellan Behavioral Health hosted a recovery fair to provide resources to local residents.

Around 30 vendors from different hospitals and clinics provided different tools for many forms of recovery. Pamphlets and speakers shared ways to overcome the struggles others have faced.

As businesses provide help to others in the community, it encourages others to take that first step in their journey to recovery.

"It's really encouraging to me that so many different types of organizations are participating," Natalie Moldofsky, recovery support coordinator for Magellan Behavioral Health said. "Because recovery is something that it's not just about their addiction side. In order to improve our lives, we need to focus on our physical wellness, our mental health and recovery itself."
