Jordan Wood and Benjamin Sappington united in marriage on Aug. 3

Jordan Wood and Benjamin Sappington, both of Kenosha, were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 3., 2024, at Big Food Valley Farm in Elkhorn, with Lucas Hoffenkamp as officiant.

A reception was held at Duesterbeck's Brewing Company in Elkhorn.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry Wood of Kenosha and Jodie Marquardt of Racine. She graduated from Tremper High School in Kenosha, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the Unviersity of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned her master's degree in occupational Therapy from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minn. She is employed at Froedtert South-Pleasant Prairie.

The groom is the son of Robert and Nancy Sappington of Rochester, Minn. He is a graduate of Byron High School in Byron, Minn. He is employed as a handyman at Odd Job Larry in Kenosha.

The maid of honor was Megan Panasewicz. Bridesmaids were Rachel Kramer, Kalyn Umsted, Amanda Ziemba, Aimee Muellenbach, Morgan Shepperd, Evelyn Hoffenkamp and Rosie Wood. Flower girls were Janice Whitten and Aubrey Buck-Sappington.

The best man was Marc Umsted. Groomsmen were Riley Hovelson, Tyler Otteson, Heath Rud, Tyler Sappington and Jacob Sappington. Jarrett Wood served as usher.

After a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple plan to reside in Kenosha.
