Kerr-Tar COG holds Annual Awards Banquet
ROXBORO — The Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments held its Annual Awards Ceremony on Sept. 26. Derrick Sims, chairman of the Kerr-Tar Board of Directors presided over the meeting, which was held at the Festival House at the Homestead Steakhouse in Timberlake.
More than 160 guests gathered to celebrate and honor local government leaders throughout the region.
Kerr-Tar Annual Award winners were as follows:

Lynda Clayton — City of Roxboro
The Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments Board officers for the upcoming year include Chairperson Betty Wright, Town of Louisburg; Vice Chairperson Carolyn Faines, Vance County; Treasurer John Alston, Warren County.
