Major organisations from the public sector, industry, business and healthcare will feature at the MTU Kerry Careers Fair. This event will showcase graduate employment opportunities as well as internship and placement opportunities across all disciplines with a diverse number of fields which include Health, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical, Social Care, Engineering, Environmental, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business, Accounting, Marketing, Investment, Technology, Cybersecurity, Construction, Apprentices, Agriculture and more.

"There are many benefits of attending a careers fair whether you are at the beginning of your university journey, or even part way through. It is an ideal platform for seeking out work experience, placement and internship opportunities which will significantly enhance your future CV and job applications."

"For final year students and postgraduate students, the careers fair is an excellent platform to explore different sectors and graduate opportunities, which is hugely beneficial when considering your future after graduation," said Angela Teahan, MTU Careers Officer.

The MTU Kerry Careers Fair will provide attendees with an excellent platform for networking with professionals from various industries, who are actively recruiting.

Meeting representatives from companies of interest allows one to forge valuable connections, exchange contact information and potentially secure future job, placement or internship opportunities. Building a strong professional network is crucial for career development, as it opens doors to new possibilities and enhances one's visibility within the job market.

Major Kerry employers will attend on the day as well as leading employers from across the country. Exhibitors include Astellas, Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, CField Construction, Continumcommerce, CSG, Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine, Eli Lilly and Company, Enable Ireland, ENERCON Windfarm Services Ireland, Energywise Ireland, Enterprise Mobility, Fehily Timoney & Company, FEXCO and FRS Recruitment to name but a few.

For this year's careers fair, MTU will use the Careers Fair Plus App which is an interactive smartphone app designed to enhance the experience for students, graduates, and staff attending the Careers Fair. It enables attendees explore information about companies attending the fair, which allows for advanced preparation and tailored interactions.

A CV clinic will also run for the duration of the Careers Fair, providing an opportunity for students to receive personalised feedback and advice on their curriculum vitae. The clinic will run on a drop-in basis, allowing participants to bring their CVs and have them reviewed on the spot.

"Those who plan to attend the Careers Fair should come prepared with CV in hand and research the employers that are attending and the types of opportunities they have available," Angela added.
