New Sioux Falls street & lane closures

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — The new week will bring a new slate of street and lane closures that Sioux Falls drivers will want to be aware of as they return to work and and school.

Starting Monday, North 9th Avenue will be closed south of Hermosa Drive so crews can install new utilities. The project should take a week.

Also Monday, the outside, northbound lane of South Western Avenue will be closed between 63rd Place and 57th Street for sidewalk repairs. The work is expected to last a couple days.

Also Monday, the outside westbound and outside eastbound lanes on River Boulevard will be closed at the Big Sioux River bridge for sidewalk repairs that should take one day to complete.

And there will be short-term lane restrictions and road closures starting Monday on South Prairie Avenue between 13th and 15th Streets. Crews will be doing repairs to the sanitary sewer that should last the week.

Drivers will want to slow down in construction areas and consider taking an alternate route.
