We're only two days away from October and if you've been following the N.J. high school football season to this point, you would know Week 5 has the potential to be epic.

The table is set for phenomenal matchups across all five leagues, including unbeaten New Milford (4-0) at unbeaten Butler (4-0) for the NJIC Meadowlands Division title, unbeaten Summit (4-0) at Somerville (5-0) in the Big Central, No. 11 St. Augustine (4-1) at Holy Spirit (4-1) for WJFL non-public bragging rights, the always awesome Wayne Valley (4-1) at Wayne Hills (3-2) in the SFC, and two of the Shore's stoutest in Southern (4-1) at Brick Memorial (4-1) among others.

There's even some fun on the prep school scene. Hun (5-0) is visiting Blair (2-1) in a rivalry clash and the game can be seen for free on NJ.com courtesy of our partnership with LocalLive.

We're also less than a month from the public-school cutoff, and Week 5 is the time of the year when regular-season games start feeling like the postseason. With each week comes more importance for playoff positioning and fringe teams are running out of time to boost their UPR.

Below, find the complete Week 5 statewide schedule.
