Pasco County comfort stations open for those impacted by Helene

HUDSON, Fla. (WFLA) — Several comfort stations opened Sunday morning for neighbors in Pasco County impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Neighbors impacted by the storm can use the stations to cool off in A/C, charge their electronics, shower, and do laundry. City and county officials ask residents to bring supplies for showers and laundry.

Cooling stations open across Tampa Bay for residents without power

All comfort stations in Pasco will be open Sunday between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Hudson Library, 8012 Library Rd, Hudson

  • J. Ben Harrill Recreation Complex, 2830 Gulf Trace Blvd, Holiday

  • New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center, 6630 Van Buren St., New Port Richey

  • The Hudson Library and the New Port Richey Aquatic Center will distribute food and water supplies until they're gone.

    Pasco County has seen a huge community effort to get people back on their feet, as a lot of neighbors lost everything.
