Pittsburgh Steelers add training camp star cornerback

J.Nelson28 min ago
Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Thomas Graham is being elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for the team's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Graham is being elevated after the team lost Cory Trice Jr., their starting dimebacker, to a hamstring injury in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers. That could give Graham the inside track to being the starter at that spot in this game.

Beanie Bishop Jr. has manned the starting slot cornerback position, though there is no guarantee that Graham will see snaps there. He can provide depth on the inside and outside, boosting the Steelers' cornerback depth after losing Trice.

  • BETTING:
  • Graham was a training camp star and even started two games for the Steelers at slot cornerback. However, Graham lost out to Bishop, and Bishop has started the first three games of the season in the slot, allowing one touchdown in those three contests.

Graham suffered a high ankle sprain that forced him to miss the entire 2023 season, but after signing a future's contract with the Steelers, he found a second lease on his NFL career. Now, he will make the most of it; this will be his first NFL game since 2021.
