Scoreboard Rundown: Bad weather can't slow down Week 6 action

A.Walker1 hr ago

The leftover rain and wind from Hurricane Helene did its best to ruin Week 6 of the Kentucky high school football season. But through some clever schedule maneuvering, only a handful of games across the state were fully canceled. A third of the games were played on Thursday, another third on Friday, and the final third on Sunday. Four more leftover games will take place on Sunday with the final four happening on Monday to officially close out the week.

While most of the contests over the last few days were still played in poor weather conditions, we were still treated to some quality football. The KSR Game of the Week between No. 3 Paducah Tilghman and Allen County-Scottsville on Thursday saw the Blue Tornado come away with a 42-16 win as quarterback Jack James broke the state's career passing touchdown record.

Elsewhere, No. 7 St. Xavier upset No. 2 Trinity on Saturday night in Louisville while No. 5 Cooper was able to hold off No. 14 Highlands up in northern Kentucky. Top-ranked Boyle County had no problem breaking down Lexington Catholic on Friday night, either. The only Top 25 game yet to be played this week is scheduled for tonight as No. 4 Male hits the road to face Pleasure Ridge Park at 6:00 p.m. EST.

Below you can find all of the final scores from teams among KSR's Top 25 rankings, along with the teams outside of the rankings that received votes from our panel of 10 voters. We have compared the final result to the pregame predictions from On3's Massey Ratings , which once again did a solid job of predicting the winner and getting close to the final score.
