She is the daughter of Hollywood A-listers who have been married for 24 years.

But now she is forging her own career in Hollywood with a starring role in a new short film executive produced by the legendary filmmaker Spike Lee.

While her career may just be starting, this rising 21-year-old star has already walked many red carpets, recently attending the premiere of the documentary America's Burning with her father and brother.

Showbiz clearly runs in her family - one of her older brothers is also a well-known actor.

It's Carys Douglas, the daughter of Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta Jones!

Douglas shares Carys and son Dylan with his wife Catherine and also has son Cameron, 45, from his first marriage to Diandra Luker.

Her latest film, another short called F*ck That Guy, is now heading to the PROOF Film Festival in Los Angeles and sees Spike Lee serve as an executive producer.

Carys shared snaps from the project along with various behind-the-scenes photos as she gushed about the movie's upcoming film festival screening.

In 2021, Catherine revealed both Carys and Dylan are determined to get into acting.

Catherine said on The Drew Barrymore Show: 'Their love of the craft of acting is so strong that even when Michael, their brains they are doing politics and history in school, but their passion is acting.

'And they've never done anything professional, but they would like to go into acting.'

Carys has even been warned by her father, whose dad was Kirk Douglas, that if she pursues Hollywood she will always be referred to as 'the daughter of.'

The mother-of-two said: 'In fact one has to prove oneself more, so even with that deterrent my kids are like, "No, sorry we still want to do it."'
