Siouxland workers, employers invited to virtual hiring event

( KCAU ) — Job seekers and employers in the North Sioux City and Dakota Dunes area have been invited to be part of the next virtual job fair by the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation.

According to a release, the free virtual hiring event will take place on Wednesday, October 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the event, employers will have the opportunity to conduct same-day interviews, discuss job openings, and interact with job seekers to find suitable candidates.

The release noted that Premier Virtual will offer a company and recruiter training session to show employers how to build their booth. Information about the training will be included in an email once registration is completed.

Employers are asked to register at least one week before the job fair.
