Sports Stephen A. 'Disgusted' With Deshaun; ESPN Has Browns Problem

The piling on of Deshaun Watson continues as he is again experiencing issues - on and off the field - for the Cleveland Browns.

And all of it is causing the critics to ooze out of the woodwork. The latest case in point? ESPN's Stephen A. Smith , who is saying that he is "very disgusted" with the Cleveland QB.

"I don't know what the hell happened to him since that period of time," Smith said, referencing Watson's time as a star with the Texans before the 2022 blockbuster trade. "But the only thing we do know about him is that the cases against him went away, but so did his game. Because we ain't seen that quarterback since he departed from Houston."

Our response? As the 1-2 Browns ready to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in NFL Weekj 4 today ... We aren't going to defend Watson on the field or off of it. But we do have a solid bet when it comes to Stephen A., the hard-working-but-cartoonish TV personality: Smith has likely barely watched a Browns game for the better part of the last two years, has likely never contacted a source with possible knowledge of Watson's issues, and simply did a Watson segment because it is a controversial way to fill a segment.

and then back to the Dallas Cowboys.

In the end, the one thing that Stephen A. Smith said that we are sure rings true? Three words: "I don't know. ...''
