Warm and sunny today and tomorrow, with seasonable weather on the way

Today we see another day with plenty of sunshine around Rochester. Highs top out around 80° this afternoon, as winds remain rather light out of the east. Then heading into the evening, clear skies will continue, with overnight lows only sliding down into the mid-50s.

Monday wraps up September on yet another warm note, with highs once again climbing up into the low 80s for much of southeast Minnesota. However, it does look to be a breezier day to start the week, with winds picking up out of the south at 10-20 mph. Then as we head on throughout the evening, a cold front looks to move on through the region, and while moisture supply for this system looks to be insufficient to get any rain, we will see winds shift to out of the northwest tonight, stay breezy, and then temperatures drop down into the upper 40s overnight.

Tuesday is when we start to see some more seasonable weather move on in behind the front, as winds will stay breezy out of the northwest at 10-20 mph once again throughout the day, as highs top out in the mid-60s.
