It's Sunday once again, and you know what that means — it's time for our weekly social media roundup! The checked off their second goal of the season this week, clinching the division title with a victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday in a game that yours truly was in attendance for. With the final out of the 2024 regular season now in the rearview mirror, let's see how the Bombers celebrated this achievement — and what else were they up to this week!

AL East Champs Our lead story today is, of course, the Yankees clinching their third division title in the last six years with a 10-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles this past Thursday night.

While the Yankees' social media account posted some photos from the celebration, many of the players added their own pictures and videos to their private Instagram accounts — mostly on their stories. Jazz Chisholm Jr. was, as anyone who watched him livestream the playoff-clinching celebration in Seattle would guess, the one who posted this most during the celebration.

Anthony Volpe, though, made sure to share a photo of him and his longtime minor-league teammate , Austin Wells.

Meanwhile, some players — like Aaron Judge and Oswaldo Cabrera — made sure to highlight the special ladies in their lives.

The Last Days of the Coliseum The Yankees played their final games at the Oakland Coliseum this past weekend, and to nobody's surprise, both players and reporters took to their social media accounts to reflect on the occasion.

Hart of the City New York Knicks guard/forward Josh Hart, the great nephew of Yankees great Elston Howard, visited Yankee Stadium and Monument Park for the first time this past week, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch this past Tuesday.

Scranton's Season is Over The Yankees' Triple-A affiliate, the Scranton RailRiders, saw their season come to an end this past week. Although they did not make the playoffs, their 89 wins set a franchise record.

Hopping on the trend Over the last two weeks, a trend has been going around where sports teams' social media accounts would track down old photos of their players and ask them to autograph them. This past weekend, the Yankees did just that — and I must say, the results were glorious.
