Jason Kelce is turning ESPN's "Monday Night Football" broadcasts into his own personal fashion show.

The former Philadelphia Eagles star, who joined ESPN's broadcast team after retiring from the NFL in March 2024, swiftly settled into his new role as a commentator and captured viewers' attention each week by showing off his evolving sense of style.

For the latest broadcast, Kelce appeared to channel his inner cowboy in honor of the Nov. 18 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans. The retired athlete appeared on "Monday Night Countdown" wearing a denim collared shirt, bolo tie, brown suspenders and a matching wide-brimmed Western hat.

When fellow "Monday Night Countdown" crew member and retired NFL player Marcus "Swagu" Spears asked Kelce if he owned the bolo tie before he touched down in Dallas in a clip shared on X, the 37-year-old replied, "No, I got it right off the plane ... and the hat."

Spears, who played for the Cowboys from 2005 to 2012, shook Kelce's hand and said, "I appreciate you ingratiating yourself in the Texas culture."

Kelce then clarified, "This is not a cowboy hat," before adding that he could never leave his Philly roots behind.

While Kelce was happy to cosplay as a rancher for a few hours, some social media users playfully teased his look, suggesting that he missed the mark.

Barstool Sports' Steven Cheah tweeted , "Jason Kelce looks like a Brooklyn mixologist waiting for your $26 drink order."

Another joked that Kelce resembled Victor French's character Mr. Edwards from "Little House on the Prairie."

A third said Kelce "looks like he's gonna rustle your cattle."

One account thought the former athlete looked like Smokey Bear, the iconic character in wildfire prevention ads.

"Jason Kelce here to remind you that 'Only you can prevent forest fires,'" the X user wrote .

One Swiftie decided to make a Taylor Swift reference given that the singer is dating Kelce's younger brother, Travis Kelce, and said , "Jason kelce is serving cowboy like me."

Even the official account for the "New Heights" podcast, which the Kelce brothers host together, joined in on the fun.

"Jason's lookin like a Texas local with this fit," the account tweeted .
