1 declared dead after vehicle was removed from pond near Stanford

STANFORD, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — One person was declared dead after a vehicle was removed from a pond between Junction and Stanford.
The Boyle County Fire Department said they received a call around 3 p.m. to assist with vehicle recovery in the area of Kentucky Highway 300.

Officials with BCFD said they found a vehicle that had traveled down a large embankment into a pond.
After working with nine other agencies, the vehicle was removed from the water and one individual was declared dead at the scene.
