57 first responders battled overnight Westville house fire
WESTVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — A home and garage in Westville were damaged when a fire tore through them Tuesday evening.
The fire happened on James Street just after 7 p.m. Officials with the Westville Area Fire Protection District said firefighters arrived to find the garage fully engulfed in flames and the fire spreading to the home on the property.
One person injured in three vehicle collision in Champaign
A total of 57 people responded to the fire, including personnel from the fire departments of Georgetown, Ridge Farm, Tilton, Catlin and Lynch Area. Paramedics from Arrow Ambulance, officers from Westville Police, technicians from Ameren and volunteers from the Red Cross also responded.
The fire was marked as under control in just 24 minutes. No one was hurt.
