1 in serious condition after semi-truck crash near Logan

LOGAN, Utah ( ABC4 ) — One person is in serious condition after a crash near Logan Thursday morning, according to Utah Highway Patrol

At around 11 a.m. on Sept. 19, a sedan pulled out in front of a semi-truck on S.R. 101 at 900 East, south of Logan, according to Sgt. Battenfield, UHP. The semi was reportedly hauling cattle.

The vehicles collided, causing the sedan to roll. The driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The driver of the semi did not require hospitalization, Battenfield said.

S.R. 101 was closed in both directions for around two hours following the crash.

None of the cattle died in the crash, Battenfield said.
