1 injured in Chatfield crash on Highway 30
CHATFIELD, Minn. — A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway 30 in Chatfield on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.
A 2018 Subaru Outback was traveling west on Highway 30 and a 2007 Saturn Ion was traveling north on Mill Creek Road when the vehicles collided in the intersection around 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report.
The driver of the Saturn, 81-year-old Hanna Wahlers Elshoff of Chatfield, had non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys.
The driver of the Subaru, 84-year-old Larry Donald Ladassor of Stewartville, was not injured in the crash.
According to the report, the road conditions were wet as rain continued throughout the day.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Chatfield Police Department, Chatfield Fire Department and Chatfield Ambulance Service responded to the crash.
