2 John Bapst administrators ‘stepped away’ from roles unexpectedly
Two high-ranking members of the John Bapst Memorial High School staff are "unavailable for the foreseeable future."
Head of School Dave Armistead and Director of Public Relations Angela Kearns "stepped away" from their roles, John Bapst Principal Jason O'Reilly said in an email to parents Tuesday that was obtained by the Bangor Daily News.
The school cannot provide additional information at this time, the email said.
O'Reilly directed a BDN reporter to Dan LaMontagne, the chair of the Board of Trustees, when asked for comment.
LaMontagne did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Director of Finance and Operations Bill Meier is taking over the interim administrative responsibilities. The transition should not result in interruptions to day-to-day operations, the email said.
