376 lane closures in effect September 20
PennDOT announces lane closures on I-376 in Monroeville, Penn Hills, Wilkins Township, Churchill
Drivers who use Interstate 376 (Parkway East) will see more lane closures this weekend, followed by a change in the traffic configuration starting Monday.PennDOT says traffic on I-376 will be down to one lane in each direction between Exit 80 (Monroeville/Business Route 22) and the bridge over Sunset Drive, starting Friday at 9 p.m. and continuing until Monday at 5 a.m. During that time, workers will be doing concrete approach slab reconstruction.After that work is completed on Monday, traffic headed eastbound (outbound) on the parkway will be shifted into the two inner lanes all the way through the construction zone from Churchill to Monroeville. The Penn Hills exit will remain open.For drivers traveling westbound (inbound) on the parkway, PennDOT says the current traffic configuration will stay the same.PennDOT says the weekend construction in the westbound lanes will be postponed two hours before the Steelers game on Sunday.
