2 men injured in Flint shooting, police investigating

FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) - Two men were shot in Flint Thursday evening, Sept. 19, and Flint Police are investigating.

Flint Police responded to the 2900 block of N. Saginaw Street in Flint for a report of a shooting just before 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers received information that two men suffered gunshot wounds, the Flint Police Department said, adding police identified the weapon in the shooting as a handgun.

The police department said there is no other information available as of Friday afternoon, Sept. 20.

The investigation is ongoing.
