77% of Bears fans remain patient despite the offensive struggles

Kudos to my fellow Chicago Bears fans! As usual, the disgruntled, vocal minority has been chirping about the team and flooding social media and comment sections with their panic, but when we put it to a poll, our fans were aware that two games are far too soon to pass judgment.

Many of us expect the Bears to be a decent football team in 2023, with a possibility the offense would take a while to get going, and that's where the team is. Caleb Williams and the offense have struggled, but 77% of our fans say it's far too early to panic.

Two of their three phases are playing well, and a closer look at the All-22 shows Caleb Williams playing better than his numbers would indicate.

After a rough early start, the offensive line needs to come together. Chicago's first two opponents had good defensive lines, but as o-line guru Brandon Thorn said on a r ecent Bears Banter podcast , the Bears will have the advantage in the trenches in the next few weeks.

This week's confidence results took the expected dip after the loss to the Texans , but a win in Indianapolis on Sunday would send that in the other direction. Our partners at FanDuel Sportsbook have the Colts as a 1.5-point favorite, but the Bears have the more talented roster, and I think they'll win outright.
