911 outage in Jo Daviess County

Residents in parts of Jo Daviess County may experience difficulties when calling 911, according to a news release from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Department.
A telephone network outage can prevent calls from reaching the 911 center in Galena. Residents who need 911 services during the outage can call the sheriff's office at 815-777-2141 or their local police or fire department. There is no word on when the outage could be resolved.

Galena, including the Galena Territory, 777, 776
Hanover, 591
