2023 Sanderson Farms champion takes part in golf clinic
JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A PGA champion made a stop at the Jackson Country Club on Thursday to help young golfers hone their skills.
Luke List, the 2023 Sanderson Farms champion, took part in a golf clinic. Participants received training from the pro golfer about how to improve their game.
List said it's good to be back in Jackson and sharing the love for the sport.
"Jackson's obviously a special place to me being here as defending champion. And this is the first time I've been back since the tournament last year. So, I have phenomenal memories of this town's golf course community and the event," he said.
First Tee Central Mississippi was the recipient of the golf clinic.
The 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship will take place at the Country Club of Jackson from September 30 to October 6.
