Kaylee Butson, St. Charles/Lewiston-Altura

Butson is an ultimate leader who on the field possesses excellent vision. Her ability to distribute the ball from the midfielder has been a huge key for fifth-ranked SCLA. Butson has 13 goals and seven assists.

Makenzie Carrier, Kasson-Mantorville

A tenacious player, Carrier toggles between midfield and forward. Carrier has turned in another hugely impactful season with 16 goals and four assists. Her leadership on and off the field had helped carry this team. Carrier will play basketball next year at Division II Northern State University.

Adri Brenengen, Winona

The senior forward has had a brilliant season, with 30 goals and five assists. Her goals scored ranks second in the state. Brenengen, one of the state's top sprinters in track and field, uses that burst to go flying past defenders in soccer. She has a knack for seeking out the ball, running past defenders and then scoring under pressure. Brenengen seems a lock to be named first-team All-State for the second straight season.

Delaney Awe, Kasson-Mantorville

Awe is certainly among the top handful of players in southeastern Minnesota. The senior forward's ability to read the field as play develops is what makes her so lethal. A second-team All-State player last year, Awe has 11 goals and 11 assists this season.

Samantha Perez, St. Charles/Lewiston-Altura

Perez, last year's Post Bulletin Player of the Year, has had a dominant senior season. Perez has 26 goals and nine assists and has done it on a SCLA team that is ranked fifth in state Class 1A. Perez's top attributes are her speed and tenacity.

Maggie Crosby, La Crescent-Hokah

A junior, Crosby is a scoring machine for the Lancers. Crosby has used her excellent speed and quickness, as well as an equal ability to shoot with either foot, to have scored 21 goals this season. On more than one occasion, she's scored four goals in a game.

Elena Hartung, Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa

Hartung spearheaded an historic season for Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa, resulting in the team going undefeated in league play and winning its first Hiawatha Valley League title. Speed and strength are the senior forward's best attributes. Typically the focus of opposing defenses, she remained her team's most dangerous attacking threat. Hartung has 13 goals and six assists and is the program's career leader in both goals and assists.

Brinn Kelley, John Marshall

Kelley brings loads of experience to the Rockets' lineup. The senior is in her fourth year on the JM varsity and is in her second year as a captain. A forward/midfielder, Kelley has nine goals and five assists this season.
