2 students in custody after reports of guns at AR school

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two students have been taken into custody in Marion, Arkansas after police say they were armed with guns at Marion High School on Friday morning.

About 45 minutes ago, the Marion Police Department says they were told by security campus at Marion High School that two students were armed with guns on school property.

Police say they arrived at the scene and took the two students into custody, but they did not find any weapons. There were no reported injuries.

Westside Middle School closed after staff member shot

Marion High School students are now being dismissed for the day, according to police.
