Elkhorn family displaced after house fire A family in Elkhorn is without a home after a fire Monday night.

Crews were dispatched to the fire just before midnight.

No injuries have been reported after the incident.

One hospitalized after crash near Omaha's Little Bohemia One person is in the hospital after a crash near Omaha's Little Bohemia neighborhood.

The accident happened at South 13th and Pierce Streets at about 9:45 p.m. Monday.

Crews fight fire at vacant North Omaha house OFD crews responded to a fire at a reportedly vacant North Omaha home on Monday night.

They were called to the blaze near North 43rd and Pratt Streets at about 9:20 p.m.

A report says that the house was vacant, but that there was evidence of squatters.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to a release.

City council to vote Tuesday on 'Dogtopia' issue Omaha City Council will vote Tuesday on a long-awaited resolution to an issue with a dog daycare in northwest Omaha.

The owner of the Dogtopia location says that a city inspector told him the outdoor play area violates city zoning rules.

The council will consider whether to approve a $26 million in Tax Increment Financing (TIF) for the Central Park Plaza major renovation project.

The project is set to bring more affordable apartments to downtown Omaha.

Omaha singer competing on 'The Voice' A singer from Omaha, named DREION, is being featured on Season 26 of NBC's "The Voice."

DREION sang a rendition of Earth, Wind & Fire's "Shining Star," which turned all four chairs Monday night.

"And all four were also happily on their feet by the end of DREION's soulful set, each applauding (along with the audience) for the Artist," NBC says.

He had his choice of coaches, but he decided on Snoop Dogg.

Decision 2024: Vance and Walz debate Tuesday JD Vance and Tim Walz will be meeting Tuesday for their first and possibly only vice presidential debate.

AP reports that it could be the last chance for both campaigns to argue their case before the Nov. election.

The debate comes a day after early voting ballots were mailed for the upcoming election.

Postal Workers in Omaha, and nationwide, are holding a "Day of Action ," Tuesday that rallies for better postal service.
