10 veterans graduate from Allen County problem-solving court

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Ten veterans graduated from an Allen County problem-solving court Friday morning.

The veterans, ranging in age from 26 to 69 years old, served in multiple branches of the military, including the Army, Army National Guard, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force. Their graduation from the problem-solving court marks the 11th in the program's history.

The court is meant to combine rigorous treatment and accountability for veterans facing incarceration due to charges stemming from substance abuse and/or mental health issues. It

Jarred White, founder and Executive Director of Fort Wayne 22, an organization that supports veterans, served as the keynote speaker at the graduation.
