2 Women Charged In Plot To Kill Ex-Boyfriend: Police

According to Montgomery County police, 53-year-old Adelaida Consuelo Zacarias Chacon of Germantown and 40-year-old Reyna Gomez Lopez of Philadelphia were charged with first-degree conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the alleged plot.

According to police, a case worker at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Family Justice Center contacted detectives in June and said they received information that Zacarias Chacon had attempted to hire someone to kill her ex-boyfriend.

During the investigation, detectives found communications between Zacarias Chacon and Gomez Lopez indicating that Zacarias Chacon had paid Gomez Lopez $1,000 to find a person willing to kill the ex-boyfriend. A bank transfer confirming the payment was also discovered, police said.

Both women were taken into custody by Montgomery County officers assigned to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Zacarias
