A group of pensioners received a racy surprise as a semi-naked butler arrived at a care home to celebrate their milestone birthdays.

The party took place at the Dell Care Home in Lowestoft, Suffolk, and it commemorate Margaret Cargan turning 100 and Mary Bryan and Elsie Hollis, who both toasted to becoming 95.

The trio, dressed in sashes and tiaras, were thrilled by the unexpected topless man along with their other pals.

The butler, named Chris, donned a risqué bow tie, gold party hat, and an apron, showing off his built, muscular upper body as he posed with the pensioners for pictures.

He only had a small black apron which gave the women a very cheeky view as he turned around to move their plates.

Margaret, Mary and Elsie had their own birthday cakes, a buttercream sponge, a white iced cake and a chocolate gateau.

They sat down in the care home alongside their other friends for a buffet-style lunch with balloons and birthday banners to celebrate the occasion.

Chris showcased his butler skills by carrying a lit birthday cake while singing Happy Birthday.

Mary and Elsie sported sashes that said: '95 and fabulous' as they blew out their candles together alongside the butler.

He helped Margaret blow her candles out as the rest of the table full of friends and staff cheered and clapped.

And it seems he was very popular with the ladies, with one of the residents, named Betty, holding his hand as he poured her some lemonade.

Chris could be heard saying: 'Thank you for the compliment, you're a lovely woman as well.'

He was then later seen putting his arm around Elsie as the pair chatted away and he was also seen conversing with Margaret.

One employee of the care home was also heard saying: 'We hope you've got more birthdays to come, all the very best.'

Joy Henshaw, regional director of Wellbeing Care, which runs The Dell Care Home said: 'Seeing the ladies' faces light up was priceless.

'It's safe to say this was a first for Elsie, who's never encountered a "Butler in the Buff" before.

'We always strive to make our residents' special days as memorable as possible and this was a fantastic example of that.

'We aim to create joyful moments like this every day ensuring our residents live their lives to the fullest.'

She said the women loved the unusual treat but added that it was not Mary's first time encountering a semi-naked butler.

Joy added: 'Mary's excitement was clear, but she revealed this wasn't her first time.

'She said she'd "seen plenty' in her time."
