A look inside the 2024 Mistletoe Marketplace
JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – We were at the Mistletoe Marketplace gala and Wednesday, and a couple of things caught my eye.
One was a toy train set. It doesn't have tracks, but it does have plastic-snap together rails. It reminded me of the old slot cars a bit, but they look like fun.
I did notice Time for Toys has a booth. I bring them up because we were talking with Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann earlier in the week about the prevalence of autism in society today, and sensory toys is one of Time for Toys specialties, and they are right here at home.
And of course, I'm always attracted to shiny things, and there are lots pretty things at Mistletoe. The proceeds go to the Junior League of Jackson, which comes back to us in all of their projects.
