Abandoned Hollywood Hills mansion covered in graffiti as squatters take over the property

LOS ANGELES (KABC) - A mansion in the Hollywood Hills is now home to squatters and taggers. The abandoned home is also covered in graffiti. Neighbors say squatters have been coming and going for more than two years. According to Los Angeles police, officers have been called to the home six times this month for trespassing and vandalism with 10 people removed from the property on Wednesday. Public records state that John Powers Middleton owns the home. Middleton owns another Hollywood Hills mansion that was taken over by squatters last year. Neighbors say they are tossing around the idea of coming together as a group to buy the property.
