Abilene area forecast: Friday November 15th

We will see a warm Friday afternoon and a weekend with some changes coming with slightly cooler temps and even the opportunity for rainfall for the latter part of the weekend into Sunday. For today, look for sunny skies and a high of 74 degrees. The winds will be breezy from the south at 5-10 with gusts to 20 mph through the day. For tonight, we will look for clear skies and a low around 54 degrees. The winds will be out of the south at 5-10 with gusts to 20 mph.

It's a deserted property that many of you drive by every day on Interstate 44. It's also classified as an active hazardous substance clean-up site by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, but regulators have determined it can be cleaned up to a level that will make it safe for people to live here again.
