Aces trump 11th ranked Bears in Valley semis

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–Evansville shocked the Missouri State mens soccer team in the Valley tournament semifinals Wednesday night.

The fifth-seeded Aces beat the top-seeded Bears 1-nil.

That loss knocks 12-3-2 MoState out of the tournament, and any bid to the NCAA tournament will have to be an at-large bid.

After a scoreless first half, the Aces would score on a penalty kick early in the second half, Nacho Garcia gets a head on this ball, and Evansville wins 1-nothing.
