Union Minister Nitin Gadkari received YouTube's prestigious 'Golden Button' Award on Wednesday, a recognition of the popularity of his content on the platform, where he shares videos of his speeches and office inaugurations. Announcing his award, Gadkari posted on X, "A symbol of people's trust and support – honored to receive the Golden Button for sharing the journey with you all! Thank you, YouTube!"

The award was presented to Mr. Gadkari by Google Asia Pacific's YouTube Regional Director, Ajay Vidyasagar.

In 2021, Gadkari shared that he earns around Rs 4 lakh per month in royalties from YouTube.

"The viewership of my channel increased, and YouTube now pays me Rs 4 lakh per month as royalty," he mentioned while reviewing the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway project in Bharuch.
