Afternoon Briefing: Investigation underway after man and 6-year-old boy found deceased

Good afternoon, Chicago. A GoFundMe account set up to help with funeral arrangements for Homer Glen employee Jacquelyn Huff, who was killed by her husband Sunday, and to benefit their 6-year-old son had raised nearly six times its goal from nearly 300 donors. The Will County sheriff’s office said Tuesday night that Jacquelyn, 38, was shot three times in the head by her husband , Michael Huff, 47, a sergeant who worked more than 20 years for the Glendale Heights Police Department. Michael Huff died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, the sheriff’s office reported. Here's what else is happening today.
