Air Force Falcons at Wyoming Cowboys: Players to Watch

V.Rodriguez22 min ago

WR Tyler King

King has been the Cowboys' most explosive playmaker this season. The 5-foot-9 sophomore wideout caught three passes for 52 yards against BYU in the team's last home contest. He returned a kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown against North Texas last week. He ranks third in the country with a 37-yard return average.

RB Sam Scott

Scott was prolific in both the run and pass game against North Texas last week while seeing his most extensive action of the season. He rushed for 39 yards on 11 carries and caught three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. He is expected to be a focal point of the offense again in Week 5.

DT Jordan Bertagnole

The senior captain has yet to have a big performance this season. He's been on the field as the Cowboys' defense has been shredded for nearly 500 yards in three of its four games. Playing an Air Force team that will run the ball over 50 times, much of UW's defensive performance will be riding on the play of Bertagnole up front.

AIR FORCE

WR/RB Cade Harris

Though Harris has seen fewer touches than starting tailback John Busha, he has averaged over six yards per rush. He fared well in the Falcons' 31-3 loss to Baylor, tallying 71 yards on eight carries.

LB Grant Uyl

Uyl, a 5-11, 225-pound senior, has been an integral part of the front seven for the Falcons through three games. In his last start against Baylor, Uyl recorded seven tackles, including two tackles behind the line of scrimmage to lead the Falcons.

LB Osaro Aihie

The 6-1 senior leads the Falcons in the middle of the defense. Aihie is coming off a seven-tackle performance against Baylor.
