As far as ranked wins on the resume goes, no one has as many right now as Alabama football .

Based on the latest AP top 25 rankings, the Crimson Tide has four wins over teams ranked now. No other team has more than two.

No. 9 Alabama has victories over No. 11 Georgia, No. 23 South Carolina, No. 24 Missouri and No. 21 LSU. The latest was a route of the LSU Tigers by 42-13 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Where Alabama's strong resume takes a hit are the losses. The Crimson Tide has two of them: One to No. 6 Tennessee, one to unranked Vanderbilt.

No. 1 Oregon has the best win in the country, having beat No. 2 Ohio State. That's one of two ranked wins for the Ducks, who also beat No. 13 Boise State.

Oregon is one of eight teams with two ranked wins. Others include No. 7 BYU, No. 8 Notre Dame, No. 10 Ole Miss, No. 11 Georgia, No. 15 Texas A&M, No 20 Kansas State and No. 21 LSYU.

Top 25 teams that do not have any wins over ranked teams: No. 3 Texas, No. 4 Penn State, No. 5 Indiana, No. 16 Army, No. 17 Clemson, No. 18 Colorado, No. 19 Washington State, No. 24 Missouri and No. 25 Tulane.

Next up, Alabama will face Mercer on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+/SEC Network+.
