DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A new study has found that Alabama is 39th out of 50 states in providing the most support for children.

According to Smilehub, analysts compared each of the 50 states based on several data metrics, such as the quality of public hospitals, children's well-being, and number of children enrolled in preschool.
