Alabama-Based Fan’s Extreme Efforts for Rival Team Invite $11B Giants’ Backing Plea by College Football Analyst

It's college football, folks! You get to experience the most bizarre things. Would you ever spend half your day driving only to see a match of a rival program's game? Well, even if you do, we are not judging you! After all, an Alabama Crimson Tide fan did something unimaginable to watch the rivals Dan Lanning's Oregon Ducks play live.

Looks like he has still not done obsessing over the rival program and comes with a plea on Twitter. Lucky man, his request reached the right person as a top college football analyst has taken it up to make the fan's dream come true. Well, that's the power of Ducks HC Lanning, who is already getting into the NFL hype.

Alabama fan's true act of passion for Dan Lanning's squad Another day, another interesting fan story. Well, by now we know how passionate Crimson Tide fans are about their program. They were the ones who ran after their ex-HC and GOAT Nick Saban for getting an autograph and were almost on the verge of getting stampeded. However, this time around, an Alabama fan has gone to great extents, not for Kalen DeBoer's boys. Instead, he got up on the hype train for Lanning's Ducks. Oops not the train, rather he drove to Michigan. That took him some 12 hours of his day. But what made CFB analyst Josh Pate re-share the tweet with the caption, "Excuse me we need to discuss this."

It's the effort that seemed to have won Pate's heart. After all, being an Alabama fan, the man named his son after the Ducks' stadium, Autzen. He now seems to be up for something big as he gives a heads-up, "I'm contemplating going to Wisconsin this weekend." But his wish is dependent on a clause.

He wrote, "My wife has agreed to let me drive again if will sponsor gas for the trip!" QuikTrip is a charitable organization worth $11 billion that serves communities by sponsoring gas for people who post a picture at the station. So here Pate had to interfere for the fans' efforts to be heard. All this to see Lanning cast magic yet again against Wisconsin on November 17.

Dan Lanning's coaching stints draw NFL-level comparisons The Ducks are at No.1, thanks to HC Lanning who is driven by the motto, the "grass is damn green in Eugene." Right now Oregon is coming off undefeated holding a 10-0 overall score. This was enough for Lanning to be the center of attention. On November 13, ESPN analyst Jeremy Fowler came up with an interesting report.

One NFL executive told Fowler that they came up with a different take on the Ducks HC and it has got to do nothing without college footba-l. He said that they compared Lanning to Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell. After all, Campbell too led the program to an 8-1 record in 2024 and right now holds the top spot in the NFC Conference standings.
