(KBTX) - The renewal of the football rivalry game between Texas A&M and Texas will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 and will be broadcast on ABC, according to a release from the Southeastern Conference. Scheduling the game under the lights will mark the fifth straight night game the Aggies have played this season. The last time A&M played five night games in a row was to close out the 2015 season, which included the Music City Bowl. Since 2006, when A&M's online records begin, the Aggies had never played five consecutive night games during the regular season. The game will mark the first time the Longhorns and the Aggies have met on the football field since 2011, when both programs were members of the Big 12. A&M left the conference for the SEC before the 2012 season. Texas holds a 33-61-3 all-time record in the series. The Longhorns also lead the series at Kyle Field, 21-26-2. The Longhorns face Kentucky Saturday, while the Aggies travel to Auburn for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff. Should both teams enter the Nov. 30 matchup with one conference loss, the matchup could be for a berth into the SEC Championship and the College Football Playoff.
