Amanda Serrano sure loves to throw a punch in the boxing ring. It seems a close second would be to grab a bite in the American chain—Subway. The two have been inseparable for some time now, and their bond only appears to get stronger, despite the Puerto Rican fighter's recent hiccup against Katie Taylor. Serrano, 36, fought Taylor, 38, for the undisputed super lightweight glory on November 15 but fell short. Her efforts could help her win the fight and claim the undisputed crown, as all the judges scored the fight 95-94 in the Irish champion's favor. But it hasn't put a dent in 'The Real Deal's strong link with the fast food chain, whose sales revenue is over $10 billion. Promoting the Subway Series on her Instagram handle, Serrano, at 47-3-1, wrote, "The season to eat well is here and knows it! Take advantage and try the Subway® Series Pernil Lovers and enjoy that local flavor that you love so much. Ask for them by name or number at Subway! " [translated] Interestingly, the commercial of her enjoying a meal at Subway during the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul event must have also grabbed many eyeballs. What's more? The unified super featherweight champion appeared in a Subway PR campaign with retired basketball player Carlos Arroyo as the Subway Series ambassador. It looks like her latest promotional gig has even seized the attention of boxing veteran Antonio Tarver. Traver, 55, turned to the comment section of the post and lauded her for her exploits inside the boxing ring against 'KT'. The former unified light heavyweight champion commented, "Great fight champ ." Notably, Serrano outpunched Taylor 324 to 217 punches, throwing the most punches in the women's history. Yet she found herself on the receiving end of a loss. It didn't sit well with her, as she has been vocal about the same.
