Amelia L. Spock, 78, of Alden Road, Nanticoke, died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre
Mercy Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Cyzyeska) Czeh and was a
life resident of the Nanticoke area. She attended Nanticoke schools and was a
member of Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke, and the its Womens Catholic Council.
She was employed as a factory worker for General Cigar Co. for
approximately eight years.
She and her husband, Leonard, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
this year.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley, Walter, Theodore, Leroy and
Joseph; and by a sister, Angeline. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are
sisters, Mrs. Mary Plodwick and Mrs. Anna Kuren, both of Nanticoke; and nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Grontkowski
Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 9 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and
