The third of five men accused of breaking into a Troy home last month as part of an international crime ring.has opted out of trial with a plea in Oakland County Circuit Court.

According to the Troy Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security has indicated there's "probable cause to believe (all five) are here (in the United States) illegally."

The five men were arrested on Aug. 1 following a daytime home invasion in the 3600 block of Millay Drive in Troy. The crime was reportedly spotted by the homeowner who called police after watching a masked intruder via a camera inside his residence. The homeowner was reportedly at work at the time. It was later determined multiple suspects were involved, police said.

At a hearing earlier this week, 43-year-old Luis Felipe Camargo of Mexico, aka Alberto Franco Jimenez, pleaded no contest to second-degree home invasion. Prosecutors dropped a charge of driving with a suspended license. He's scheduled for sentencing on Oct. 15.

Two others charged in the incident pleaded guilty in August: Colombians Michel Alba Rincon, 39, and Geovanny Castellanos-Forero, 27, entered their pleas for second–degree home invasion and are scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 24.

The other two co-defendants are Colombians Owen Jean Cortes, 25, charged with second-degree home invasion and possession of burglary tools, and Omar Giovvany Rodriguez-Aponte, 48, charged with second-degree home invasion. Cortes is scheduled for a pretrial on Sept. 24; Rodriquez-Aponte has a pretrial scheduled for October.

Bond for all five is $1 million.

The cases are assigned to Judge Victoria Valentine.

Issues with immigration status will be handled by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office said.
